Welcome to TRECA Digital Academy
TRECA Digital Academy (TDA) is a public, non-profit community Ohio online school that provides a customized online education to students and partner schools across the State of Ohio. TDA is a tuition free online school that supports students from public schools that require special educational needs. These students may be working full-time, supporting their families or have behavioral/special learning issues that require a unique educational schedule and setting.
Owned and operated by a consortium of over 35 Ohio public districts, TDA works with local schools to meet the needs of students who are not able to achieve their full potential in a traditional classroom setting. Our faculty includes over 60 licensed instructors that are all fully certified in their subject areas.
TDA offers a comprehensive K-12 curriculum that meets or exceeds all of Ohio’s academic standards and includes a multitude of Electives and Global Language options that are not available in many local districts. TDA provides students with all the necessary computer equipment and a secure high-speed Internet connection at no additional cost. Students may access their coursework 24/7, giving them the flexibility to better integrate class time into their busy schedules and progress at a pace that fits their personal learning style. Upon graduating from TDA, students receive a fully-recognized Ohio high school diploma that is accepted by colleges and universities across the country, as well as the military.
