O7-08 Student Handbook

All students are required to attend an orientation session at a TRECA Digital Academy regional office prior to starting school. This session will last approximately 3 hours. You will be invited to an orientation once your application file is complete. Students are not enrolled in TDA until they attend an orientation.

The orientation session will give you the opportunity to meet some of our TRECA Digital Academy staff, to review the student handbook and to ask any questions you may have. You will also receive hands-on training on how to use various components of your computer and the TDA classroom environment. At the end of the orientation, students take home their computer equipment (computer, scanner, etc.). This will be your equipment to use throughout the academic year.

Please do not attend an orientation without prior confirmation from the TDA staff. If you attend without confirmation, your equipment may not be available and you may not be able to enroll in TDA that day. Confirmation is required since all equipment must be individually configured for your home location. Call our office at 888-828-4798, extension 238 to register for your orientation session.

Directions: TDA is located at 100 Executive Drive in Marion, Ohio, which is approximately one hour north of Columbus off Route 23, just west of the intersection of Route 23 and Route 95. From the Route 23 over Route 95 bridge, proceed west (towards downtown Marion) to Vernon Heights Boulevard and turn left. Take Vernon Heights Boulevard to Delaware Avenue. Turn left on to Delaware Avenue. The TRECA Digital Academy Building is on the right hand side of Delaware Avenue. Turn right on to Executive Drive (past the TRECA Building). Turn right on Harding Memorial Parkway. Turn into the second entrance on the right.
