Elluminate Support Rooms
No matter what your learning style, most students need a little extra help every now and then. That's why TDA offers Elluminate® Curriculum Support Rooms, where students can literally raise their hand, turn up their microphone, and talk to a live, certified teacher. Students having difficulty learning a concept or needing one-on-one assistance - no matter what subject or grade level - can get the personal help they need.
Likewise, parents are encouraged to use Elluminate® to discuss any topic with their child's teacher. Students and parents learn how to use Elluminate® during orientation prior to starting school.
Elluminate® classrooms offer "live" homework help via personal conversations with TDA teachers, use of the computer screen as a "whiteboard," feedback and interaction it's the next best thing to being there.
Departmental Elluminate® Rooms are available to all TDA students throughout the day Monday through Friday. Specific hours are designated for elementary (K-5) students, and by department for middle (6-8) and high school (9-12) students. Teachers who staff Elluminate® rooms share files and offer various links while working directly with students, until they have achieved the desired level of understanding.
Students may utilize Elluminate® as often as necessary, for one or more subjects. Parents should encourage their students to use Elluminate® as well.
