Whether learning is accomplished online or in a traditional classroom setting, parents and other supporting household members play a vital role in every child's education. That's why it is important to establish clear, strong lines of communication between parents and schools, and to encourage parental involvement in the child's education.

To that end, TRECA Digital Academy (TDA) offers the parents of every TDA student membership in the TRECA Digital Academy Parent Organization (TPO). The TPO will provide you, the parent, with

• Use of discussion boards as an additional means of communicating with parents, teachers, and staff
• Read-only access to your child's current courses
• Online learning opportunities and tutorials
• Additional parent resources

How does the TRECA Digital Academy Parent Organization work?

The TRECA Digital Academy Parent Organization manages its operation, affairs, and activities through an advisory board consisting of nine representatives: one administrator, three teachers, and five parents.

After joining the TPO, you will be given a username and password to access your account. Once logged in, you will see an environment with all of the necessary tools and resources needed for this online parent organization.

Is there a cost to join?

No. There is no cost to join the TPO. All parents are welcome and encouraged to join.
